About FlyScreenGuide
FlyScreenGuide is an independent editorial site focused on magnetic fly screen doors for balcony, patio, and terrace doors. We publish practical guides, research-based product reviews, and comparison tables to help renters and homeowners choose the right insect screen without drilling into their door frames.
What we publish
- Guides — Standalone how-to and buying advice with no affiliate links (measuring, materials, installation, rentals, pets, wind, and more).

How we evaluate products
Each review follows a consistent framework so you can compare our reasoning across brands:
- Fit and sizing — Does the listed size match common balcony and patio door dimensions? Is the product trimmable or fixed?
- Material tier — Polyester, Apalus VP fabric, or fibreglass? What does that mean for UV exposure, pets, and longevity?

We do not copy Amazon product descriptions verbatim. We also avoid unsourced performance claims — if we cannot verify a specification from the listing or manufacturer materials, we say so.
Product images
We do not display Amazon product photography on this site. Amazon Associates policies restrict the use of listing images unless they are served through approved tools such as the Product Advertising API or Creators API — which we do not currently use.
